Sinds begin november 2009 heeft Microsoft meer dan 1 miljoen gemodde consoles met succes van het Xbox Live Netwerk gebanned. Maar het hield niet op bij de ban, want ook zorgde MS er voor dat er een aantal functie als het instaleren van games op je HDD niet meer werkte.
Maar een hacker met de naam GodzIvan heeft ontdekt dat je door een ingreep op je NAND weer gewoon games op een gebande console kan instaleren en spelen. Xlife.nl wil er op wijzen dat we niet piraterij supporten, maar ook niet de ogen sluiten voor wat er technisch wel en niet mogelijk is met je console.
